Course Summary: Flat course with two long straights and two sharp bends; long run to first, short run-in; finishing line set at an angle, favouring horses on inside; fences very well built and inviting. Watering possible as evidenced by the superb evenly watered ground in 2007. Large containers of water available at the finish as well as in the unsaddling enclosure. Good access to and exit from car parks. Rural and pleasant. Usually masses of runners and huge crowd for good reason, as this is a meeting where the utmost is done to provide a great day out for everyone. Set to give the Grafton a new home in 2008 following the demise of Mollington.
