Course Summary: Undulating galloping oval course; old downland turf on chalk; long run-in since course altered by passing fence near winning post. Car parking good on steep slope (engage handbrake and reverse); always a very large crowd; follow signs if coming from south. Viewing excellent from hillside with superb view of start and finish. Excellent betting market. A well organised meeting.
