24 August 2011 Bobs Law disqualified from Dunraven Bowl
Following an enquiry by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), former Point-to-Pointer Bobs Law has been disqualified after winning Chepstow's Dunraven Bowl Novices' Hunters' Chase for trainer Robert Scrine in April.
Routine urine analysis discovered the presence of methylprednisolone in the sample, which is a prohibited substance under the Rules of racing.
Under Rule (A)74, the attending Panel disqualified Bobs Law, now in training with Keith Goldsworthy, from the race, thus promoting Pathian Prince to first, Oca de Thaix second, Rich Nomad third and Doc Wells fourth.
