Two pony races start off the day at the Carmarthenshire Point-to-Point this coming Saturday at Erw Lon. So all racegoers and those involved with runners need to be aware of the 11am start time, with the first Point-to-Point race due off at 12 noon.
Both Warsaw Pact and Chesnut Annie, winners of their respective Opens last time, are again amongst the entries. 109 have been received in total for the meeting,
A chance to qualify for a place in the Connolly's Red Mills Hunter Chase final at Cheltenham sees some talented horse line up in the third race of the day, the Intermediate race. These include a winner from the last meeting, Rob Luke's Oca De Thaix, and 2009 course winner, the North Shropshire qualified Banbury Babe.
For those who have never visited the track it lies on the B4336 not far from Llanfihangel-Ar-Arth. SA39 9DZ is the code for the Sat Nav and with nine races in total it's a great day out for family. Under 16's get in for free so long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Refreshments are available at the course and at affordable prices, however bookmakers are in attendance providing every chance for you to win your money back.
