05 February 2010 Bob Champion's 60:60 Charity Challenge

by Weatherbys Chase Staff

Bob Champion is about to undertake a new challenge to raise money for his own Bob Champion Cancer Trust and the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Grand National-winning jockey Bob has announced the '60:60 Charity Challenge', which will see him set off from Ascot Racecourse on 18th April to visit all 60 Racecourse in Britain in 60 consecutive days, taking him on a 10,000-mile journey.

Each course will be racing on the day of the visit, with Bob having made arrangements for those who wish to support his Challenge to join him at the races for a mere £50 minimum donation.

The events, sponsored by Lotus cars, will give supporters of the charities a free pass to the Club enclosure of their chosen course plus the chance to meet Bob and discover how racing works behind the scenes, as well as be entered into a Grand Draw to win some fantastic prizes.
