The Dulverton Farmers Point-to-Point meeting takes place this Saturday, May 22nd at Treborough Hill with the first of six races off at 2pm.

The Members race is the first on the card and each of the entries is a contender for honours. Richard Woollacott, who heads the national championship with three winners in hand, has entered Black Forest Lodge winner Therecessionbeater; Ashley Farrant could saddle Saturday's Mens Open winner Mioche D'Estruval, out and out stayer King's Wood or Prince De Bersy, while last year's winner Redworth Boy is also entered.

Plenty of decent winners are entered in the Ladies including Axe Vale winner Dr Cerullo, who acts on any ground and ran out the easy winner. Master Billyboy likes to hear his hooves rattle and he won nicely at Littlewindsor in April. With Susie Berry in good form, she could enjoy a win on Ha Ho Magregor.

Twenty-six are entered in the Mens and there will be plenty of money on the Richard Woollacott-trained Come What Augustus, who is unbeaten this season with seven wins under his belt.

Lord Daresbury's Amicelli is a decent horse and could make the long trip to Devon to line up in the Mens, with the David Easerby-trained Gunner Jack, with five wins this season, is another major contender.

Intermediate entries include Mr Gossip who has been consistent enough this season, winning twice; the Polly Gundry-trained Ned The Post who won the Berkeley Hunt Members race a month ago and Sea Senor, another runner to represent David Easterby.

Plenty of nice types are entered in the Restricted including Wadebridge winner Stitchnick who could represent Richard Woollacott and the Jane Williams-trained Shalimar Fromentro, who won a Maiden race at Kingston St Mary.

The betting will be the key to the Maiden race. Entries include Three Half Crowns who was second at Stafford Cross last month; Boluisce, who has finished in the frame on three occasions; and Merry Terry, who was beaten half a length at Cothelstone a couple of weeks ago.

The course is located on the B3224 Wheddon Cross to Raleigh's Cross road and entrance is £20 per car or £10 for a single occupant. Tradestands, a licensed bar, catering and bookies will all be at the course.
