22 September 2009 2009/10 Fixture List released

The Fixture List for the 2009/10 Point-to-Point season has been released.
The first of 213 scheduled meetings will be the Black Forest Club fixture at Black Forest Lodge, on Sunday November 29th, followed a week later by the Cambridge University United Hunts Club at Cottenham, which kicks off the East Anglian season. The season finishes, traditionally, with the Torrington Farmers at Umberleigh on Saturday June 12th.
There are three brand new fixtures this season. The Northern and West Wales Areas are holding early-season Club meetings at Alnwick and Lydstep respectively, while after a few years in the wilderness, the West Of Yore returns at Whitcliffe Grange, a brand new course near Ripon in North Yorkshire.
The Llandeilo Farmers are not holding a meeting this coming season, while the two-day Radnor & West Hereford fixture is reverting to just one day.
