12 March 2010 Changes to Garnons for the South Hereford meeting

Clerk of the course Stan Turner has been very busy following last weekend's fixture at Garnons, setting the ground right and making some alterations.
The bends have been moved, as has part of the back straight to ensure the best possible going for the South Herefordshire Hunt meeting on Saturday, 20th March.
Stan also reports that a section has been knocked off the final fence to make the obstacle more inviting.
The weather has been perfect for the thorough harrowing that Garnons received on Wednesday, while it was painstakingly rolled on Thursday. The scuds of rain forecast at the end of the week should then leave the terrain immaculate.
"Stan's worked very hard to present the course in as good condition as it possibly can be," said entries secretary Liz Morgans. "I hope his labours will be reflected in an increased entry."
