The scheduled Harborough Race Club meeting at Dingley on May 29th has been cancelled.
Midlands Area Secretary David Ingle said on Wednesday (May 18th): "The forthcoming fixture at Dingley, for the Harborough Race Club, has been cancelled. This is due to no more water being available to the course which would mean the ground could not be prepared adequately, both in the preparation in advance and for the day."
"In the interests of animal welfare and efficiency the decision has been taken by the committee so as to notify potential participants in plenty of time and allow for alternative arrangements should they need to make any."
