23 December 2011 Hunter Chase Season to begin in January

The Hunter Chase season will have an earlier than usual start in 2012, with three races scheduled to take place in January.
The three meetings holding Hunter Chases in January are as follows:
Wednesday 18th January: Newbury - The Rickety Bridge Open Hunters' Steeple Chase (2m6½f). Entries close on Thursday 12th January.
Sunday 22nd January 2012: Towcester - The Grafton Hunters' Steeple Chase (2m6f) - for horses which have not won more than three steeple chases. Entries close on Monday 16th January.
Thursday 26th January 2012: Warwick - The Willoughby de Broke Open Hunters' Steeple Chase (3m½f). Entries close on Friday 20th January.
