All eyes will be on Paul Miles' prolific ten-year-old bay mare Lady Myfanwy when she lines up at the start of the Ladies Open Race at the Llangeinor Hunt Point-To-Point at Laleston, near Bridgend, on Saturday.

A winner of 23 Point-to-Points and two hunter chases, Lady Myfanwy may have most to fear from Fantastic Champion and that grand old ex-National Hunt performer Celtic Boy, who beat Chandlers Cross at Bonvilston last month.

Lady Myfanwy's stable-mate, the remarkable five-year-old Findlay's Find, has Ask The Thatcher and recent Crudwell Cup-winner Minsgill Mans to beat in the Mens Open Race.

Brinkmanship, a winner over fences and hurdles when trained by Tim Vaughan, has recent winner Diamondaire and Manor Park to contend with in the Confined Race.

North Hereford winner King Of Rohan should prove too good for Freedom Of Choice in the Restricted, and if Dot Up lines up for the first of the two Maiden races the tip should be taken.

The first of the seven races is at 2.p.m.and there will be two pony races to end the day.
