The Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge is the venue for the North Cornwall's rearranged meeting this Saturday and it looks set for some above average Point-to-Point racing with plenty of highly regarded horses entered in seven races which begin at 12pm.
Secretary Sarah Tickle said she was delighted with the entries with the track was in great condition for racing.
"The racing should be very competitive with several horses who have already won this season entered as well as others who always seem to go well at Wadebridge," she said.
Among the 95 entries are Charlie Rush's consistent Ballybrown who is trained on Bodmin moor by Becky Kennen and is a course winner. Becky also trains Print The Money for Charlie and he'll be making his British debut in the Restricted race having won an Irish Maiden in April.
Sarah's son Joe, 22, who is pupil assistant with prolific Devon-based trainer Nick Williams, is likely to ride him as well as Over The Moors in the Members race.
Among Polly Gundry's eight entries are the highly regarded mare Labarynth in the Connolly's Red Mills Intermediate race, Takotna, third in the Mixed Open at Ideford Arch last month, and Taunton Hunter Chase winner Nobody Tells Me, who are both entered in the Ladies Open.
Polly's Maiden entries include Tara Whale, Lord Raspberry, Blejan Eyhre and Tellemall Brother.
Two decent prospects for the season ahead, Glacial Call and Ellies Horse, are entered in the Confined and with regular winners River Heights, Lisheen Storm, King Georges and Wee Fly also set to come under starters' orders, the race has a competitive look to it.
Ellies Horse is also entered in the Mens Open race alongside Sporting Rebel, a winner at Ideford Arch in December, the ever-popular Holly Walk and Come What Augustus, a winner at the course a month ago.
Entrance to the course, where there will be a licensed bar, catering, stalls and bookies all under cover, is £20 per car or £10 per car with a single occupant. The course is situated off the A39 west of Wadebridge, postcode PL27 7JE.
