The Pytchley at Guilsborough has attracted 147 entries over the seven races. Racing opens at 1.30pm with a typically competitive Hunt Members with four out of the thirteen entered having won last time out.
Pennytino and both of the Teeton runners (Teeton Dazzler and Teeton Bollinger) should be mentioned as should The Hairy Lemon, who was third last time out. Previously to that he was looking the winner at Horseheath when unseating the rider and could make amendments on Sunday.
27 are entered in the Confined and a competitive field should go to post. Patrick Hutchinson's Mendo and Mrs Moody's Galway Jack look the ones to beat, but also worthy of a mention is the consistent Alflora Dora.
Several would be a reliable pick in the Ladies Open. Double Mead is unbeaten this season and is bidding for his fourth win on the bounce, similarly the Ruckers' Kicks for Free would hope to make this a hat-trick. Also noteworthy are the talented The Hookie Bookie who looked back to his best at Whitfield last time out and course and distance winner Beet de Bob.
The pick of the 17 entered in the Men's Open would appear to be Richard Hunnisett's Denvale and Judy Wilson's Coolefind who could follow up his win last time out.
Eight of the 23 entered in the Restricted won last time out and a competitive field looks guaranteed. The Waley-Cohen owned/trained Rumbavu was an impressive winner at Chaddesley Corbett on his Point-to-Pointing debut back in January, similarly Penmore Hill was a more than convincing winner on his debut at Garthorpe last time out. Also noteworthy are Karintino and Halfway Cut.
Admission costs are £20 a car, £10 for single occupancy.
