The Sir W.W. Wynn's Hunt have attracted a bumper entry of 152 for their fixture between the flags this Saturday May 23rd at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse.

Racing comes under starters orders at 2.00pm and is set to conclude at 5.30pm.

Admission to the North Wales course is only £25 per car regardless of the number of occupants. Single occupancy is £15, and pedestrians are charged at £8 per person. Clerk of the course Ed Gretton lists the going as Good on Sunday May 17th 2009.

The PPORA Club Members race has attracted a decent entry which is headed by the David Easterby trained Pristine Condition. The Tamure gelding has won five races this season and was a gallant runner up to Grenfell in the Dodson & Horrell PPORA Club Members Championship Final at Tabley. Also entered are Tabley winner Ile De Paris, and Little Big Horse from the Sheila Crow yard, who won first time out at this course earlier in the season, and provided the trainers 16yr old granddaughter Alice Walker with her first winner on her first ever ride in a race. Others to note include Holy Joe and Le Passing, and a good race is in prospect.

There will also be a party taking place after racing in the marquee with a band called Essential on, admission is free. There will also be around 25 trade stands and a fair for the younger generation.
