Bee An Bee: looking for his 5th win of the season

Godstone stages its third Point-to-Point of the year on Sunday (April 6th) and an attractive card looks like bringing together most of the season's leading contenders.

South Eastern reigning Men's champion Philip Hall expects to run family horse Little Farmer in the Hunt race, seeking a course double for the season, while current title race leader Stuart Robinson rides Parzando in the Restricted, Magnus Veritas in the Confined, and his father David's Bee An Bee in the Open - hoping the Kent Grand National winner can score his fifth win of the season and complete a treble at Godstone.

Ladies' leader Heather Kemp will be aboard Sounds Good in the Restricted, Saddlers Cloth in the Confined, and Nathos in the Ladies'. Nathos is challenging Bee An Bee for leading area horse, while Heather is currently well clear of Anna Sansom for the Ladies' title.

Rider/trainer Nick Pearce reports that Simon Tindall's Jack's Present will run in the Restricted, Sheriff's Friend in the Men's Open, Super Kay in the Confined and Sanamour in the Members.

The first race is at 2.00pm, preceded by pony racing at 12.30pm. Admission prices are £20 per car (£10 reduction for single occupancy) and £5 for pedestrians. Godstone racecourse is just two miles from Junction 6 on the M25.
