Tomorrow is the last day to bid in the South Wales & Monmouthshire Area Auction of Promises! All proceeds will go towards the Area's Injured Riders Fund and the Isabel Tompsett Recovery Fund.
Twenty items are being auctioned, with the closing date being 6pm on Friday July 8th. The successful bidder for each item will notified before the Annual Awards and Dinner Dance the following day (Saturday), at which a list of all items and winnings bids will be displayed. The items up for grabs at the auction are as follows:
1. Nomination to either National Hunt Stallions - Dr Massini or Bach. Kindly donated By David and Dawn Brace, Dunraven Stud - £1000.00.
2. Half a New Season Welsh Lamb. Cut and Packed as Required. Kindly donated by Jonathon and Judith Tudor - £150.00.
3. A Morning on the gallops and breakfast for four people with National Hunt Trainer Peter Bowen, to include four tickets to his Open Day and four Tickets to Ludlow Races. Kindly donated by Peter Bowen and Bob Davies - £200.00.
4. A Log Cabin Weekend Break at Porthgain Holiday Cottages, near St Davids, Pembrokeshire, for up to four adults and two children. Kindly donated by Paul and Debbie Hamer - £300.00.

12. A morning on the gallops, followed by breakfast and an invitation to Trainer's Open Day, for four persons, plus four Premier Tickets to Chepstow Racecourse. Kindly donated by Evan Williams Racing and Northern Racing Group - £1000.00.
13. Three night weekend break or four night midweek break, self catering - in Caldey Lodge (sleeps four) at Pembrokeshire's 5* National Park Resort, Bluestone. The South & West Wales Area Injured Riders Fund are also organising a Family Fun Day from 12noon onwards on Sunday 26th June, to be held at Merthyr Mawr, near Bridgend, by kind invitation of the Tudor Family.
As well as a Barbeque and Refreshments, there will be a Knockout Rounders Competition. Entry for the competition is £30 for a team of ten, to be registered in advance by contacting Emma Jones on 07736 553011 or ek.jones@btinternet.com.
