Morestead trainer Jenny Gordon, joint leader for the Hampshire course's top trainer prize, will have four runners at Hackwood Park on Easter Monday.
Two of these, Kjetil and Top Ram, are owned by London barrister Neil Henderson and are double entered so that the owner will be able to partner both his horses. The opening Novice Riders race would seen to be an opportunity for Top Ram, with Kjetil going for the Hackwood Park Club race at the day's end.
With only ten entries (from a total of 110 for the day) Kjetil could be opposed by his own stable companions - Wain Mountain and Presenting Express. The latter's owner Fenton Ramsahoye is on a family skiing holiday and Presenting Express will be ridden this time by Claire Douglas who rode a double at Hackwood Park ten days ago.
One of her two winners, Present Oriented will now be ridden by his owner Chris Chapman, landlord to Jenny Gordon at Morestead in the Novice Riders race.
Gordon's rival on the trainers leaderboard, Kim Smyly, has Good Return in the PPORA Club race - impressive winner of the Maiden event here ten days ago - ridden by his experienced owner David Maxwell, Good Return has a serious chance of following up on Monday.
Car parking is £40, £30 and £20. Trade stands, catering outlets and entertainments will be on site and £1 for every racecard sold will donated to Help for Heroes. First race is at 2.00pm - with pony racing beginning at 1.00pm. Hackwood Park is on the A339 south of exit 6 on the M3 - postcode RG25 2JZ.
