Meeting sadly abandoned despite organisers best efforts
Please be aware that due to 15mm of very heavy rainfall at Hexham racecourse in the past 24 hours and more forecast for the coming days, the current Going of the course which is reported as Heavy, Heavy and waterlogged in places, will not be suitable for racing this weekend. The Clerk of the Course and race organisers have worked incredibly hard these past weeks to prep the course but unfortunately with the weather against them, they have had to make the sad decision to cancel the meeting.
Due to other Area fixtures arrangements, there is no plan at this stage to rearrange this meeting.
