Organisers for the South Durham meeting at Sedgefield Racecourse on Sunday 26th May have decided to merge the Four, Five and Six-Year-Old Open Maiden, over 2m about 4f, and the standard Open Maiden races due to low entries in both.
The result will be an Open Maiden to be run over 2m about 4f that will open the card, which has now been reduced to six races instead of the originally publicised seven.

2nd Race: The South Durham HUNT MEMBERS, SUBSCRIBERS & FARMERS Race, 12st (4 entered)
3rd Race: The MENS OPEN Race, 12st5lb (13 entered)
4th Race: The LADIES OPEN Race, 11st (8 entered)
5th Race: The RESTRICTED Race, 12st (5 entered)
6th Race: The CONFINED Race, 12st (12 entered)
