The Point-to-Point Owners and Riders Association (PPORA) are pleased to welcome Equine Health Centre Ltd (EHC) as new race sponsors of the Mixed Open at our PPORC Point-to-Point at Barbury Racecourse on Sunday 26th November – their first venture into Point-to-Point sponsorship.
Based in Somerset, EHC has an affinity with the racing community - the original Seawalker product, launched in 2005, was developed in response to a racehorse trainer identifying benefits of working horses in the sea. Over the past 12 years the EHC product range has expanded to include the Vitafloor, akin to a PowerPlate for humans; the Equivia riding surface, which can be adapted to the needs of different equestrian disciplines; and the Belebro Horse Walker.
PPORA Chairman, Robert Killen, said:
"Point-to-Pointing offers companies a unique opportunity to create product awareness that extends far beyond owners, riders and keepers to include the broad cross-section of the racing and equestrian community who take an interest in, and support, our events.
"As the only meeting on the final weekend in November, the PPORC Point-to-Point is a focal point for the whole Point-to-Point Community, and as such offers sponsors an exciting opportunity to promote their business on the national stage.
"We are delighted that the EHC has recognised the potential of our meeting as a springboard for creating awareness of their organisation and stimulating interest in their products. It is their first venture into Point-to-Point sponsorship, and we are grateful for their support and look forward to meeting Managing Director Justin Chittenden and his team on the day."
Justin Chittenden, Managing Director of Equine Health Centre, commented:
"We are excited to be sponsoring the Mixed Open at Barbury, the second fixture in the Point-to-Pointing calendar. It's an excellent opportunity for us to cultivate new relationships within the racing world whose horses could really benefit from our products, whilst building on our strong connections that we have within the industry."
