Print Concern Restricted Series

The PPA is delighted to announce an exciting new Restricted point-to-point series this season sponsored by Print Concern, who have agreed with all fixtures in the series that entry money for the race should go to the NHS. The sponsor will also be raising funds in other ways, including working with local co-sponsors, in order to increase the final donation to the NHS at the end of the season.

There will be a series of 20 Restricted races spread throughout the country (reduced to 13 following Covid lockdown), in which the first four will qualify for the Restricted Series Final at Stratford’s Hunter Chase evening on Friday, May 28. In addition, the winner of any other Restricted race up to and including Sunday, May 16 will be eligible for the series final.

Print Concern will also sponsor the Restricted Series Championship, in which horses will earn points once they have taken part in a series qualifier (please note that this is a change to the detail in the Planner). Points can be scored retrospectively once horses have qualified, and points will not be scored in hunters’ chases. The leading points scorer at the end of the series (up to and including Sunday, May 16) will be presented with a cheque for £1,000 at Stratford.

The qualifying races will be held at the following fixtures (updated March 25 ahead of restart):
