    8mm of rain overnight, a further 4mm by 9am and it's still pouring with rain. Course walked this morning showing natural rainfall is being taken up on the slit ground and the ground is easing. Watering will be continuing to aim for Good to Firm all round by Friday. (Tuesday 15th April)

    Clerk of the Course Graham Tawell confirmed earlier that - after 7mm of rain overnight - the going is now Good to Firm, Good in places. The course is being watered by three bowsers with the objective of producing Good going on Saturday. (Updated 12.30pm, Wed 16 Apr).

    ***** FIXTURE CANCELLED ***** After inspecting today (Thursday 10th April), the Committee has made the decision to call off the meeting on Easter Saturday.<br /> The going is currently Hard. Without the ability to water and with limited rain forecast this is unlikely to improve. This early decision will give participants time to make alternative plans for the Easter weekend.

    Following twelve hours of torrential rain at Trebudannon on Tuesday, the course inspector gives the going as Good in the home straight and Good to Soft in the back straight. There is further rain on Friday and we will update if there is significant change. (updated 16/04/25)

    The going remains Firm, Good to Firm in places, with a good covering of grass. Watering will continue, to improve the going, and we are aiming for Good to Firm on the day. The team are working incredibly hard to produce safe racing ground and we will agrivate if necessary.     Going update Sunday evening - the course is level with a good covering of grass and has been topped. We will be spiking the course over weekend ahead of watering start of next week, which will continue until race day (ie 1 week of watering), to provide genuinely good / safe racing ground.
